The workshop was spot on on all major shortcomings. The facilitator (Mr Bayat) needs a pat on the back for the following reasons: he

2. got in learners’ shoes at ease
3. motivated learners
4. had well researched and chronologically presented lectures

The workshop gave us a realistic outlook on life and the working world… The lecturer helped us to visualize our future if we do not perform in matric… We were advised on how to stay focused on our education and goals.

During the workshop, many careers were explored and we were told how to make good career choices and well informed educational decisions. We were given handy and helpful booklets with important information and detailed outlooks on careers.  The speaker was both motivating and encouraging and motivated us to reach our full potential.

I personally found the workshop informative and necessary for grade 9learners like myself. The workshop provided food for thought and is helpful and it will help us to make well informed choices about our future.
